Abstract

This article presents and analyzes the results of a cooperative E-mail project conducted at Mount Holyoke College and The Ohio State University. The project was designed to determine whether an E-mail exchange between two intermediate level German classes at both institutions would help improve students' speaking and writing in German. Suggestions and practical tips are also offered to instructors who wish to conduct a similar Email exchange with their students.
