Author Biographies

  • Rachel E. Saury, University of Virginia

    Rachel E. Saury is the Director of the Arts & Sciences Center for Instructional Technologies and is a member of the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Virginia. She holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures and an M.A. in Soviet Studies and has 10 years experience teaching Russian and 10 years experience advising instructors on how to use technology in teaching.

  • Inge DiBella, Rice University

    Inge DiBella holds a Ph.D. in German from the University of Virginia. She is now working as a Language Technology Consultant at Rice University, assisting language faculty in the evaluation, use, and implementation of computer-assisted learning tools.

  • Jared Berg, University of Virginia

    Jared Berg is a graduate student in the Department of German Languages & Literatures at the University of Virginia. He holds an M.A. in German literature and has three years experience teaching German at the beginning and intermediate levels. He currently works as an Assistant to the Director of the Arts & Sciences Center for Instructional Technologies at UVA.
