Author Biography

• Edwina Spodark, Hollins University

  Edwina Spodark is an Associate Professor of French at Hollins University and has been working with CALL since 1983. She recently presented "Demystifying Distance Learning: A Primer for Teachers" at the 2000 Stop Surfing-Start Teaching: Teaching and Learning Through the Internet Conference. She is the recipient of a Bell Atlantic Grant for her course "Contemporary France: Lessons in Distance Learning." Her article "A French Lesson for the Multi-media Classroom" will appear in the October 2000 issue of the French Review.
