Author Biography

• Judith Frommer, Harvard University

  Judith Frommer is Professor of the Practice and Director of Language Programs in Romance Languages at Harvard University. Her interests include second language acquisition and methodology, French language and civilization, and the use of technology in language instruction. She developed the MacLang Authoring System, is co-developer of SuperMacLang, and has designed interactive videodiscs and CD-ROMs. Her publications include Portes ouvertes: An Interactive Multimedia Approach to First-Year French, and articles on technology and second language teaching and learning.
