  • Elizabeth Visedo, Independent scholar

    Elizabeth Visedo, PhD, is an independent scholar and Scoring Supervisor for the English as an Additional Language (EAL) section of the Educator Licensure and Performance Assessment (EdTPA) project at Pearson, a fully online process. Her interests include teacher preparation to empower immigrants and refugees for educational excellence and social advancement. She believes access to and mastery of digital and mobile resources is the main path for educational equity. The TESOL courses she teaches as an adjunct focus on teacher candidate awareness of their role as cultural insiders and agents of change in their students' lives. She usually presents her research and ideas at education, technology, and EAL conferences.
