    Alexander Wahl is a graduate student in linguistics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His current research examines issues of language, identity, interaction, and cognition. He recently published an article in Pragmatics & Society entitled ‘The global metastereotyping of Hollywood “dudes”: African reality television parodies of mediatized California style.’
