Abstract

In this twenty-first century, Chaplains work with a background of terrorism, functioning as a remnant, making links between us, within us, with God, we learn our ideas of wholeness too often mean sameness, and God's ideas of wholeness include our particular differences.

    Ann Belford Ulanov is Christiane Brooks Johnson Professor of Psychiatry and Religion at Union Theological Seminary and a psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City.
