Arndt Niebisch is a media theorist and literary scholar living and working in Vienna, Austria. He received his PhD from the Johns Hopkins University with a thesis on the noise aesthetics of Italian Futurism and German Dada (published as “Media Parasites in the Early Avant-Garde”) and completed his Habilitation with a book on Heinrich von Kleist’s media strategies at the University of Vienna. His current research taps into the intersection of cultural production and the current digital transformation.
