Electing to do Ecotheology

Clive Pearson
Issued Date: 22 Feb 2007

Abstract

The discipline of ecotheology is relatively new. It can be practised in a
variety of ways. There is no consensus about how and what should be
taught. This article explores the underlying assumptions, method and
content of one such course taught as an elective under the umbrella of a
systematic theology. It demonstrates the need to balance a global discourse
with the particular ecology of where the course is taught.
