Author Biography

  • Dawn Fyn, University of Western Ontario

    Dawn Fyn is a Ph.D. candidate at The University of Western Ontario. She spent 14 years living with the Inuit of Nunavik and learned more than she taught! Dawn has presented her work at the Canadian Society for Studies in Education and is a recent recipient of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council grant. Her doctoral research focuses on the intersection of language and power as it relates to Aboriginal students and culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
