Author Biography

  • Mark N Brock, Carson-Newman College

    Mark Brock is Associate Professor and director of the MAT-ESL program at Carson-Newman College, where he teaches courses in second language methods, sociolinguistics, and academic writing and research. His research and publications have focused on second language writing, teacher education, and the role of culture in the second language classroom. With Larry Walters he co-edited Teaching Composition Around the Pacific Rim (Multilingual Matters). His PhD is from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
