This article describes some of the benefits that can be found by using high technology materials in difficult teaching situations. Marist College is developing several CALI programs. The author describes a slightly different use of technology where multimedia and CAI are used to teach Russian culture. Increased student motivation is a major benefit. The author also discusses how this approach allows for meeting individual needs.Downloads
