Susan E. Bangs, EdD, is a Senior Professor of ESL, English, and Spanish at the Harrisburg Area Community College. Her teaching interests and research focus on creating more communicative opportunities for her online Spanish students with a focus on Active Listening. With her ESL students, she is exploring ways to enhance vocabulary acquisition for academic language purposes.
