Author Biography

  • Deirdre Burke, University of Wolverhampton

Deirdre Burke is the course leader for Religious Studies and has an active interest in field visits to local places of worship. Wolverhampton has a very rich religious environment, both historically and in the variety of contemporary religious places of worship. Deirdre developed the website Religions in Wolverhampton to support student study of local religious communities. Her work as a National Teacher Fellow focused on student use of tutor feedback to develop their skills, and this review article links to her interest in preparing students for the skills they need for study.
