Author Biographies

  • Haeedeh Laleh, University of Tehran

    Haeedeh Laleh is professor of Islamic archaeology at the Department of Archaeology, founder and head of the Bioarchaoelogy Laboratory, Central Library: University of Tehran. She is currently vice president for the Middle East region of the ICOMOS/IFLA International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes (ISCCL), and board member of Iran National committee of ICOMOS.

  • Marjan Mashkour, AASPE- UMR 7209 (CNRS/ MNHN)

    Marjan Mashkour is bioarchaeologist specializing in the archaeozoology of the Iranian Plateau and adjacent regions. She works at CNRS at the Archaeozoology and Archaeobotany Laboratory of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle of Paris. She is the scientific head of the archaeozoology section in Bioarchaoelogy Laboratory, Central Library, University of Tehran and the Osteology Department of the National Museum of Iran, and affiliated professor in the Faculties of Science and Environment at the University of Tehran. https://archeozoo-archeobota. mnhn.fr/spip.php?article25

  • Vladimir Dabrowski, AASPE- UMR 7209 (CNRS/ MNHN)

    Vladimir Dabrowski is a PhD candidate at the National Museum of Natural History and Sorbonne Université, and works on archaeobotanical and archaeoentomological material from Classical and Islamic sites situated in Eastern Arabia. His current research is mainly focused on the plant supplying strategies of past societies, either by local production within oasis agrosystems or by importation through trade. He is also interested in the determination of the main pest insect taxa and health status of stores.
