  • Ayfer Bartu, Koc University, Turkey
    Ayfer Bartu is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey. Her areas of interest include anthropology of tourism, urban anthropology, heritage studies and social theory. She has published several articles on the politics of historical preservation in Istanbul. Currently she is working on two research projects. One is on the emerging forms of urban segregation in Istanbul, the other one is on the politics of archaeology in Catalhoyuk.
