Author Biography

  • Martin Bernal, Cornell University
    Martin Bernal received his doctorate in Chinese History at Cambridge 1966. He was a Fellow of King's College Cambridge from 1966-1973. In 1972, he was appointed Professor of Government at Cornell University where he has been ever since. In 1975 he began research into the cultures of the Ancient Near East and the Eastern Mediterranean and has published a number of articles on this topic as well as two books.
