Author Biography

  • Yannis Hamilakis, University of Wales, Lampeter
    Yannis Hamilakis received his BA in History and Archaeology from the University of Crete, and his MSc and PhD from the Department of Archaeology and Prehistory, University of Sheffield. He was a Research Fellow in the Wiener Laboratory of the American School of Classical Studies, Athens and since 1996 has been a Lecturer at the Department of Archaeology, University of Wales at Lampeter. His main research interests include the politics of archaeology and the past, the archaeology of food, zooarchaeology, and BA Greece. He is involved in field projects in Greece and Britain.
