Abstract

Language teachers and linguists have been developing their own computer-assisted language learning (CALL) software for use in research and language learning. This report describes several such programs which meet a need for communicative, inductively-based software: that are controlled by the students using them; and that can he used as tools in research as well as having applications in the classroom.
