Abstract |
Towards the end of 1989, Eddie O’Sullivan died from an AIDS-related illness. Devastated by the loss, Mark Murphy went into a personal decline, which was matched by some professional lows. However he became a visiting professor of vocal jazz at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, near Vienna, continuing to teach there for most of the Nineties. |
