6. Description Abstract In this postscript, Oskoz and Elola highlight the need for L2 educators and researchers to adapt to the rapid social and technological changes that are currently taking place. The authors also highlight several areas of possible future research, which could inform and advance L2 instructional practices and help the L2 instructor of the future to explore as yet unforeseen instructional approaches with an open mind.
