Abstract |
Relying on the results of the historical study discussed in Chapter 2 and methodological considerations in Chapter 3, I introduce my own position on the semantic change of “anar + Inf” in Chapter 4. I place particular emphasis on the role of pragmatic inferences in the process (4.2) and discuss possible typological parallelisms, as well (4.3). |
