Abstract |
This sūra treats a variety of topics and themes. In general it extols God’s creative power and condemns the foolishness of idolatry. It takes its title from the reference to the bees (Q16.68–69), which are ‘inspired’ by God and only one of many signs of his providence. A later section (Q16.98–105) sheds important light on the recitation and revelation of the Qur’ān. |
